Join Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School for a culinary showdown on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Students will compete in a Burger Slider Challenge in the school’s cafeteria, 220 Sandwich Road, Bourne.

The competition will feature two teams of three students each from Upper Cape Tech, Southeastern Tech and Greater New Bedford Tech.

The event will run from 3 to 5:30 p.m., followed by awards announced at 6 p.m. For a $10 admission fee, the public is invited to taste and vote on the sliders and sides presented by each team.

Schweid and Sons have donated the beef for the sliders, while Piantedosi Bakery has provided the buns.
