Virginia D. “Gynna” (Randall) Leach of Charlestown, NH passed away at home, on 10/6/2022 . She was the wife of George Leach Jr. Born July 16, 1951, Gynna was the daughter of Roland Randall Jr. and Jean (Backstrom) Randall. She attended Old Rochester Regional High School graduating in 1969.  She was a lifelong resident of the Marion/Wareham MA area until she and George retired and moved to Charlestown NH in 2021

During her years in the workforce, she was employed mainly in the Wareham, MA area, and worked for Reeds answering service, IGA supermarket, Kool Kone, Decas School cafeteria, Dunkin Donuts, and prior to retiring, worked at Walmart store number 2095. Throughout the years, many of her co-workers became members of her ‘extended family’ and have remained so to this day.

Many weekends would find George and Gynna traveling the roads of New England on there bike, going to motorcycle rallies and enjoying time with friends.  She loved to knit and crochet and was an avid jigsaw fan, putting them together and mounting them to be displayed in their home. She loved to cook and after moving to NH she realized her dream of growing her own vegetables and putting them up for the winter.

Gynna was predeceased by her parents, sisters Alice Briggs and Darlene Pittsley, and her brother Roland Randall III

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, George Leach of NH, her children Gynna Barrows (partner, Keith Matthews) of Mattapoisett, Robbi Reynolds (Bryan) of Rochester, Erica Delorie (George) of West Wareham and George Leach III of Charlestown NH,  7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, her sister Pat Briggs of Skaneateles NY, and her ‘mollie dog’ who was her constant companion.

A graveside service is planned for the spring of 2023 at the North Marion Cemetery, Marion MA.
