The town’s Veterans Council seeks volunteers to help place flags at the graves of those who served their country ahead of Memorial Day celebrations.

On Tuesday, Veterans Council Vice Chair Joseph Sarnelli met with Selectmen to update them on the upcoming remembrances taking place on May 30 and before.

“Memorial Day is our opportunity to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice,” Sarnelli said.
