Want to be a member of the school superintendent interview committee? Apply by March 14

The School Committee is accepting applications for residents to serve on an interview committee to help choose the next superintendent of Wareham Public Schools.

The deadline for applying is Thursday, March 14, at 12 p.m.

Committee members sought are: One principal; Two Wareham Public Schools staff members; One representative from a Wareham business; One representative from a Wareham nonprofit; Three parents/citizens at large.

All interested candidates must submit a one-page letter of interest via e-mail to mruiz@wareham.k12.ma.us stating: which group you represent, why you want to be a part of the process of choosing the next superintendent, and any qualifications or contributions you think should be noted for consideration.

Applicants can also mail or drop off a signed letter at Wareham Public Schools, attention Michelle Ruiz, 54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571.
