Story times will be held at the Wareham Free Library and Spinney Branch Library from Sept. 26 to Nov. 17.

Story time incorporates listening, thinking and social skills that help prepare children for school. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Story times in the Wareham Free Library will be held Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 6 p.m. Story time will be held at the Spinney Branch Library on Mondays at 10:30 a.m.

New playgroup announced

A new program for kids up to 6 years old will include activities, reading, singing, playing and conversation. Led by Bethany Gay, the program runs now until Oct. 13 on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library.
