The Wareham High School (WHS) Alumni Association's Annual Chicken Bake and Surprise Auction, to benefit the Alumni Scholarship Fund, will be held on Saturday, March 13, at the Redmen Hall on Main Street, South Wareham.

Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Dinner will include: salad, a baked half chicken, potatos, green beans, cranberry sauce, Italian bread and rolls, coffee, and a variety of homemade desserts. The cost is $12 per person.

Please bring a wrapped item for the auction. The item should be in good condition but does not need to be new. Part of the fun is in not knowing what's underneath the wrapping! Designer bags are intriguing, but so is something wrapped in newspaper. All proceeds from the auction go toward local scholarships.  

Tickets may be purchased by calling Susan Fluegal at 508-295-6777 or James Giberti at 508-295-2229.  Tickets may also be purchased at Shell Pointe Realty in Onset or by mailing a check made out to the WHS Alumni Association to P.O. Box 32, West Wareham, MA 02576. Tickets ordered by mail can be picked up at the door on the evening of the dinner.

The deadline for ordering tickets is March 7th. No tickets will be available at the door.

This event is always a fun-filled evening. There's no doubt that you will have a good time, so get your tickets early.  The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
