The Wareham High Junior Reserve Officer Training Course will sponsor a golf tournament at the Little Harbor Country Club on Aug. 8 beginning at 8 a.m. The fundraiser is to help offset the expenses of the state-wide JROTC competitions throughout the school year.

Those interested can register to participate with a team of four or five, or sign up to be paired with a team.  The $65 fee provides for 18 holes of golf, food, and prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, and best score.

There will also be a raffle with prizes. Food is provided by Panino's of Mattapoisett. There will also be cadets from the program to describe the purpose and goals of Wareham JROTC.

For those who aren't golfers, anyone can sponsor a hole for $100 or just contribute to a worthy cause.
