Wareham Police arrest alleged drunk driver and a Maine fugitive

Wareham Police made an arrest for drunk driving on Tuesday, Aug. 7, followed by a default warrant arrest from Maine on Wednesday, Aug. 8.

The first arrest occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday when Officer Charles Pillsbury noticed a car driving erratically on the Cranberry Highway. Pillsbury and Officer Justin Silveria stopped the car near Cranberry Plaza.

After an on-scene investigation, the driver, Tracey Dunnington, 51, of West Wareham was arreseted.

Dunnington is charged with operating under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation. She was due in Wareham District Court Wednesday morning.

That same Wednesday, Wareham Police Detectives arrested Brian Crispin, 48, of Madison, Maine in the front yard of 2 Hardy Road.

According to police, Crispin had a default warrant out for his arrest. He was taken to Wareham Police headquarters for booking before appearing in Wareham District Court.
