Wareham Police nab woman with cocaine in car, apartment

A Wareham woman is behind bars after police found cocaine following a traffic stop.

Wareham Police pulled over Shannon Bradbury, 27, on Marion Road on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at approximately 9:30 p.m. A search of her car turned up 33 grams of cocaine, and one Percocet pill.

Bradbury, who lives at the Woods at Wareham apartment complex, was known to police.

"Ms. Bradbury was under investigation for transporting illegal drugs, namely cocaine," police said.

A subsequent search of her apartment yielded an additional 14 grams of cocaine, $600 in cash, a digital scale, and plastic baggies.

Bradbury was charged with trafficking cocaine in excess of 36 grams, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and possession of a "Class B" substance (opiates).

The Wareham Police Department was assisted in its investigation by the Bristol County House of Correction South Coast Anti-Crime Unit, Barnstable House of Correction, Fairhaven Police Department, and Bourne Police.
