Wareham residents receive promotion from Barnstable County Sheriff's Office

The Barnstable County Sheriff's Office promoted several correctional officers, four of which are Wareham residents.

In a ceremony held at Mashpee Middle-High School Jan. 10, Terry Mumper was promoted to Lieutenant. Pat Matthews, Kyle Stecchi and Nicholas Roberge were all promoted to Sergeant.

“Congratulations to the members of our staff, who have proven they are ready to take on more
responsibilities and leadership roles,” said Barnstable County Sheriff Donna D. Buckley. “They will enhance the safety and well-being of their colleagues and incarcerated individuals. Together we will forge innovative pathways to improve public safety and provide second chances.”
