Wareham Selectmen OK 1 liquor license, wait on 2 more
One liquor store received the Selectmen’s approval on Tuesday to renew a license required to serve and sell alcohol. However, a second store and the Little Harbor Country Club must return before the board.
Selectmen unanimously approved a request to renew Liquors ’N More’s license for a year round all alcoholic beverages license. The store is located at 20 Rosebrook Place.
Licenses for the Liquor Locker, 3021 Cranberry Highway, and Little Harbor Country Club, 2 Little Harbor Road, were not voted on because those applications are not yet complete, Selectmen said. Representatives from the businesses were not present at Tuesday’s meeting.
Board members also approved adding new stockholders for an existing all alcohol beverage license owned by Casa Cancun Mexican Family Restaurant, located in Wareham Crossing.
Husband and wife Marisol and Antonio Santillan were added as stockholders to the license. Both are first generation Americans who have more than 40 years of restaurant experience between them.
Selectmen unanimously approved the move.
