The Wareham Summer of Celebration Committee is seeking volunteers to help in planning for the events of the summer of 2014.

Wareham will celebrate its 275th anniversary of incorporation and the 200th anniversary of the attack of the HMS Nimrod, a boat carrying British troops who destroyed Wareham vessels and a cotton factory/

People who have interests in history, event planning, volunteering, and fundraising are asked to attend the committee’s meeting on Monday, May 6, at 3 p.m. in the Multi-Service Center, room 225.
