Wareham teens arrested in Sandwich

Three young men from Wareham were arrested in Sandwich following an armed robbery early on Saturday morning.

At about 12:35 a.m. on July 13, Sandwich police responded to Tarragon Drive for a report of “kids” causing a disturbance.

Officers observed two vehicles with people running to get inside. A male victim said that three men in one of the vehicles jumped him. One man put a knife to the victim’s throat and ripped off the victim’s necklace. Throughout the attack, all three men kicked and punched the victim. 

Police arrested Hector Flores, Jorden Maclure, both 18, and Tyler Noe, all of Wareham. Flores was charged with Armed Robbery, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of a Class C Drug. Maclure and Noe are both charged with Armed Robbery and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

According to Sandwich Police, the incident was not random and could have been the result of a “drug meet up.”

Both the knife and the necklace were recovered from the scene.

On July 4, Flores and Maclure were arrested in Falmouth at 8:18 p.m. Flores was charged with disorderly conduct and being a minor in possession of alcohol. Maclure was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting with arrest. James Arne, 18, also of Wareham, was arrested at the same time for assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
