Wareham Weekend!
There’s a lot happening in Wareham on any given weekend. See below for some holiday-themed events that are occurring.
Friday, Dec. 9
Christmas Concert
The Saints & Singers Chorus will perform a Christmas concert at the First Congregational Church of Wareham on Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
An ecumenical chorus, the group is dedicated to telling God’s message through music. Entitled “Everything Glorious,” the 2016 Christmas Cantata features modern and traditional Christmas music.
There is no charge for admission.
A free-will offering will be accepted to help defray expenses and help fund music scholarships awarded each year.
For more information, call 508-540-5942 or 508-789-8220.
Saturday, Dec. 10
Stuff-A-Cruiser
The Wareham Police Department, in partnership with Target and Walmart, will hold its annual “Stuff-A-Cruiser” toy drive at the Wareham store locations on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Collected toys will be turned over to the Dick Melloni Youth Foundation Christmas Toy Drive for distribution to children in need throughout Wareham and surrounding areas.
Bring a new unopened and unwrapped toy to stuff into cruisers parked at Target and Walmart and say hello to officers of the Wareham Police Department while helping deserving children this holiday season.
Christmas in the Parks
The Onset Bay Association’s annual Christmas in the Parks event will be held on Dec. 10 from noon to 3 p.m. at The Pier View Restaurant and at the Onset Fire Station, 5 East Central Ave.
