Cranberry Coast Concerts features pianist and composer

On Friday, August 26, concert Pianist Rorianne Schrade returns to the Cranberry Coast concert series to celebrate the bicentennial of Franz Liszt. Her program will be completely comprised of works by the legendary romantic pianist and composer.

Schrade is scheduled to perform this same program at Carnegie Hall in New York City in the fall.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Eastern Bank, located at 226 Main Street.

Benefit for family of Hailey Pease

Piper Beau’s on Main Street will be hosting “A Night To Remember Hailey” on August 26 at 9 p.m. The night will feature Joshua Tree, a U2 tribute band, and raffles.

Tickets cost $10. All profits will benefit the family of eight-year-old Hailey Pease of Wareham, who recently lost her fight with leukemia. For more information, contact Piper Beau’s at 508-295-3356.

Western Barbecue at Saint Patrick's Church

Saint Patrick's Church is hosting its annual Western Barbecue on August 28 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event promises food, games, pony rides, a pie-eating contest, dunk tank, raffles, and more. An auction will be held at 4 p.m.
