Community Economic Development Authority: An independent authority, working closely with town government, charged with promoting economic development in Wareham. Small Business Development Center at UMass/Dartmouth: Provides free advice and training to small businesses. www.msbdc.org/semass/.
Cape Cod Region Chamber of Commerce: A membership organization serving the businesses of Wareham, Bourne and Sandwich. www.capecodcanalchamber.org
Wareham Town Clerk's office: Handles applications for new "business certificates," needed by all business operating in town. Can provide referrals to other resources. 508-291-3140.
