Wareham Works summit scheduled for Friday, March 30

The third annual Wareham Works Summit will take place on Friday, March 30, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall auditorium, 54 Marion Road.

Congressman William R. Keating will be the keynote speaker at 3 p.m. Representatives from educational institutions in the region, such as Bridgewater State University, Cape Cod Community College, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, UMass Dartmouth, Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School, and Wareham Public Schools, as well as other guests, will give presentations from 3:45-5:30 p.m.

There will be information booths and refreshments available.

Wareham Works 2012 will provide an opportunity for both employers and residents to obtain information about the educational and training resources available to foster a healthy and vibrant local economy.

Admission is free. The event is sponsored by the Town of Wareham and the Wareham Community and Economic Development Authority.
