Onset firefighters say broken water pipe caused minimal damage to an Onset antique shop on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Crews were first alerted to the broken pipe at 234 Onset Avenue around 12:50 p.m.

According to reports, water was running from a second story window down to the street below.

Though the building is occupied, none of the tenants were home during the incident. First responders reportedly broke down a door to gain entry into building to get at the pipe. 

Firefighters said the break was quickly corrected, sparing the building from significant water damage.
