Wendy J. (Wall) Higgins, 68, of Onset, died July 28, 2022, peacefully at home. She was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Shea) Wall.

She was born in Buffalo, NY and lived in a few different places, including Cape Cod, before settling just over the bridge in Onset.

She graduated from Watertown High School and from Bridgewater State University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Wendy last worked as an office manager for New England Mechanical Co., Inc. in Onset for several years.

She enjoyed traveling, especially to Key West, where she would spend many months during the winter seasons. She had a deep love for the arts, a talent for painting and gardening, and was always outfitted in her elaborate jewelry collection. She loved the community she found and became a part of in Onset.

Survivors include her daughter Samantha Higgins of South Boston; three sons, Jeremy Higgins and his fiancé Jennie of Barton, VT, Derek Higgins of Syracuse, NY and Christopher Higgins of Mashpee; her twin brothers, Geoffrey Wall and his wife Edna of Osterville and William Wall and his wife Michele of Glen Cove, NY; her loving companion of many years, William H. Scott of Onset and his children and grandchildren.

Visiting hours are from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a celebration of life at Salerno’s Function Hall – 196 Onset Avenue, Onset.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, at Agawam Cemetery, Great Neck Road & Stillman Memorial Dr., Wareham.
