William H. Davies, 84, of Wareham died Friday, April 24, 2015 at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John William and Martha Anna (Watts) Davies. Mr. Davies proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for over 13 years. After his military service, he made his home in Wareham where he had resided for the past 55 years. Bill enjoyed being with his family, spending time outdoors fishing and observing nature. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and NE Patriots fan.

He is survived by his three children, Debra A. Miglino and her husband Gerard of Buzzards Bay, William H. Davies, Jr. of Somers, Connecticut and Michael Davies of Buzzards Bay and his companion, Marguerite Orosz of Plymouth; his sister, Connie Erskine of Salt Lake City, Utah; his grandchildren, Christopher Smith and his wife Katie, Nicole Miglino and her fiance Jordan Glisper, Jeremy Davies and his companion Katelyn, Shawn and Becca Davies; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mr. Davies was predeceased by his grandson, the late Joseph Smith and survived by his wife Nancy. He will be forever remembered as a loving and caring father and friend.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 29 at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne at 1 p.m. Visiting hours have been omitted.
