Local women volunteers will be kicking off National Women Build Week with a construction day in Wareham on Saturday, May 1 to benefit the Buzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity (BBAHFH).

A crew of volunteer women will be helping construct a BBAHFH home at 39 Minot Ave for the Howlett family.  The event will last from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is in collaboration with Lowe's, which will donate $5,000 worth of supplies to the effort as well as provide in-store volunteer training.
