WOMENADE holiday open house this Thursday
WomenAde of Wareham (W.O.W) will hold a Holiday Open House at Tihonet Village Market, Wareham, on Thursday, December 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. This event is hosted by the Tihonet Village Market and the A.D. Makepeace Company for the third consecutive year.
WomenAde is a local charity formed by seven Wareham/Onset women who felt there was a need that was not being filled by the established charities in the region. The express purpose of W.O.W. is to address those needs and also to partner with other local charities for the community good. W.O.W. is a 501c3 charitable corporation. W.O.W. helps families and individuals in the Wareham area.
The Holiday Open House is one of several fundraisers this year. All of the members are volunteers and 100% of all money raised goes into the W.O.W. coffers. All expenses are borne by the members.
Admission to the Holiday Open House is free with any donation, but a suggested contribution is $25.
Donations to raffle/door prize at the Holiday Open House include many dinner certificates, with more being donated almost daily. If you would like to donate a raffle/door prize item to W.O.W., please email womenadeofwareham@yahoo.com
The Tihonet Village Market is an old-fashioned country store specializing in locally grown and created items. The Market is owned and operated by the A.D. Makepeace Company, a 150-year-old family-run company that has become the world's largest cranberry grower.
