The Dog Park Affiliation of Wareham (DPAW) will host a Zumba session from 1 to 2 p.m. on October 19 at the Swifts Neck Beach Playground. The class will be taught by a Zumba fitness instructor Laura Sprowl.

Participants, as well as their dogs, are welcomed to wear a Halloween costume.

Attendance price, with or without the dog, is $10 per person and can be paid at the playground.

Participants will need to sign a waiver form to participate. If participants plan to bring their dogs, the animals must be: Leashed at all times, be registered with the town, be up to date with all shots, not aggressive to people or other dogs and not easily startled by movement or music.

Proceeds will go to Wareham Dog Park.
