Photographer will showcase work at WCTV

Jun 4, 2013

Photographer Colin Veitch display his work at the Gallery at Wareham Community Television (WCTV) through July 15.

This will be Veitch's first show in Wareham, and will be open daily to the public. The New Jersey native has lived on the South Coast for 18 years.

While he works as an engineer and packaging designer, Veitch has always had a creative side, which he's found he can best express through photography.

"Photography has opened up new ways to look at the world and I enjoy the added dimension it gives to my life," he said. "With photography, I am able to combine my love of how things work with creativity and artistic expression. How this applies to my work is a thorough understanding of the science of photography, and how best to use the strengths and weaknesses of the camera."

Veitch founded Fairhaven-based Harborlight Photography in 2001, which specializes in portraits, photographing products, and real estate.

The Gallery at WCTV is located at the 505 Main Street TV station. For more information, call 508-273-2340.
