Norma L. (Malaguti) Fraser, 99, owned Fraser Specialty Shop
Norma L. (Malaguti) Fraser, 99, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Forestview Nursing Home in Wareham. She was the widow of the late Edmund W. Fraser.
Born in Wareham, the daughter of the late Luigi & Louise (Collari) Malaguti, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Fraser worked as a clerk at the Gray Oaks Gift Shop in E. Wareham and at the Cornwell's Department Store. She was also owner and operator of Fraser Specialty Shop.
A communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Wareham, Mrs. Fraser was member and past president of St. Patrick's Circle, a member of the Tobey Guild and a charter member of the Emblem Club # 99.
She is survived by her daughter, E. Louise Reed, of Wareham; four grandchildren, Robert A. Reed, Jr., of Wareham, Patricia L. Nelson, of Buzzards Bay and Debora A. Bacchiocchi and Michael W. Reed, both of Rochester; six great grandchildren; her sister, Eleanor Precourt, of Wareham. She was predeceased by two sisters, the late Margaret R. Stevens and Lena VanMetre.
Her funeral will be Friday, July 2, 2010 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church, High St., Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
