Jeffrey P. Harrington, age 39, of Buzzards Bay and Cancun, Mexico, passed away unexpectedly in Cancun on October 14.

Jeff was born in Boston and was the beloved son of Alfred and Judith Harrington of Buzzards Bay. He graduated from Bourne High School in 1992. Jeff had been employed by Captain Al’s Restaurant and Tiki Bar in Buzzards Bay and was a part-time caretaker of an apartment complex in Cancun at the time of his death.

Jeff especially loved his family, friends, and playing semi-pro football on a team in Cancun. He also loved the Patriots, listening to music, and following U.S. politics.

Survivors include his mother, Judith; his father, Alfred; two sons, Liam of Buzzards Bay and Ryan of Waltham and their mother Jodie Harrington; his brother, Frank, and two nieces, Falyon and Jaelyn Harrington all of Buzzards Bay, along with many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Captain Al’s Restaurant, 3236 Cranberry Highway, Buzzards Bay. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
