William L. "Bill" Murray, 94, of Wareham, died on June 30. He was the husband of the late Frances M. (Warnell) Murray.

Bill was born in Livermore Falls, Maine, the son of the late Lawrence W. and Wilma (French) Murray. He attended Livermore Falls Public Schools and the University of Maine.

He is the former manager of the North East Nantucket Airport. Bill also worked in the furniture department in Cornwell's Department Store and in his later years he was a service station attendant at Wells Service Station in Marion.

Bill enjoyed the outdoors, deep sea fishing, gardening and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Ann Tripp, of Wareham, and his son John P. Murray, of Nevada. He is the grandfather of the late Sharyn Tripp and the brother of the late Blaine and Fenton Murray. He is the grandfather of Jeffrey E. Tripp and his wife Leanne and Robert and Suzanne Murray. He is the brother of Patricia Brinson of GA and the great-grandfather of Ava Sophia Tripp and Lila Viviana Tripp.  He is also survived by his Congo African Grey Parrot "Mr. T. Bird".

Funeral Services for Bill will be held on Tuesday, July 6 at 11 a.m. in Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center St., Wareham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
