Nature walk.. well, adventure coming to Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary

Jan 10, 2014

Get out and enjoy the snow in the woods at Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary on Friday, Jan. 17 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Mass. Audubon’s staff and volunteers will be hosting seven adventures on the third Friday of each month from October through to April.

These adventures are suitable for people ages eight to 80. Depending on the season, Mass. Audubon says there are also sorts of things that can be seen in nature. According to it, winter is the best time to follow animal tracks to see what they’ve been up to in the woods when no one is around.

Mass. Audubon thanks to the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts for grant funding these important programs, and to the Wareham Land Trust for partner collaboration. For questions or more information, please contact Jennifer Costa at  (508) 636-2437; jcosta@massaudubon.org
