Chili seems to be the stereotypical meal of firefighters. But, who makes the best?

The Wareham Fire Department is competing in the 10th Annual Fire Fighter’s ‘Chili Challenge’ in Hyannis on March 2 from 11:45 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The department is relying on local Wareham residents to come out and support their team so they can bring the title of “People’s Choice” back to Wareham.

With 17 department teams competing, this will be no easy feat!

The event will take place at Hyannis Resort and Conference Center, 35 Scudder Ave. in Hyannis, and benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The event will also feature live music, cash bar, ‘kids corner’, raffles, door prizes and more.
