On Friday, March 28th a very exciting scouting event took place in Wareham at the First Congregational Church on Gibbs Ave. Two Webelo II Cub Scouts--Joshua Albert and Anthony Sciaraffa--crossed over to join Boy Scout Troop 39.

The ceremony included both boys and their parents crossing over a wooden bridge displayed on the stage, and each boy received a new Boy Scouts of America maroon neckerchief and slide and a scout book.

The festivities included a spaghetti dinner with the entire Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop. A Friends of Scouting representative addressed the families and spoke about the importance of supporting scout activities.
