School district seeking new elementary, middle school principals amid administrative changes

Jul 17, 2025

Wareham Public Schools is currently looking for new principals for the elementary and middle school while undergoing several administrative changes ahead of the 2026-2027 school year.

Jane Fondulis, principal of the Pathways to Academic Student Success program, which is a night school at Wareham High that gives people an alternative opportunity to earn a diploma, is retiring Oct. 31, according to Wareham Public Schools Superintendent Matt D’Andrea.

Once Fondulis retires, current elementary school principal Beth Chandler will take her place.

Middle school principal Tracie Cote will also be in a new role this fall. Cote has been hired as the Director of Teaching, Learning, and Technology for the district but will remain as principal until her replacement is found.

D’Andrea expects to announce who the new principles will be at the end of next week.
