Three arrested in connection with heroin bust at Rosewood Motel
Wareham police arrested three individuals Wednesday in connection with an investigation into the presence of illegal narcotics at the Rosewood Motel, according to police.
Police said detectives executed a search warrant for Room 20 of the motel at 3115 Cranberry Highway, and at around 3 p.m., they arrested residents Matthew Watterson, 24, and his girlfriend Kristin Lynch, also 24, after they were found to be in possession of approximately 16 grams of heroin, a digital scale, and drug-packaging paraphernalia.
Police also reported the arrest of Brooke Burns-Hill, 23, who was apprehended after leaving the room occupied by Watterson and Lynch for three outstanding warrants for her arrest.
Watterson and Lynch were charged with Possession of a Class A substance with Intent to Distribute.
According to police, all three were arraigned in Wareham 4th District Court on Thursday.
A representative from the Clerk’s office at 4th District Court said that cases for both Watterson and Lynch were continued until June 3 for probable cause hearings, and that both were released without bail; Burns-Hill’s case was continued until May 23 for a pretrial hearing, and she was also released without bail.
