Massachusetts Secretary of Education Matthew H. Malone stopped by Wareham Middle School for a visit Tuesday afternoon.

He was able to meet with a number of students even after the school day was completed and said he was impressed by how many students were still in the building for various activities.

Malone spoke to Wareham Middle School Honor Society members, talked to students in the after-school CARE program who were launching rockets on Tuesday afternoon, and spoke with Jeffry MacDougal, Wareham's eighth grade ambassador to Gov. Deval Patrick's Project 351.
