Cape Cod Five appoints Makepeace CEO as bank corporator
The Cape Cod Five Mutual Company, Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank’s parent company, elected Michael P. Hogan, president and CEO of A.D. Makepeace Company, as a corporator.
"Cape Cod Five’s corporators play a critical role in representing our communities and in overseeing the management of our banking activities," said Dorothy A. Savarese, president and CEO of The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank. "Michael’s expertise in fostering the region’s economic development, and his deep understanding of the business and non-profit communities, will give us valuable insight and guidance in helping us to serve the residents of the Wareham / Tri-Town area.”
Prior to joining A.D. Makepeace Company in 2004, Hogan served as president of MassDevelopment, the Commonwealth’s economic development authority, and as mayor of the city of Marlborough. Among his many leadership positions in civic and business organizations, Hogan serves on the board of directors of Ocean Spray Cranberries, the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, and the state’s Economic Development Council.
Cape Cod Five is set to open a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly, full-service Cape Cod Five banking center in Wareham in the near future.
The center’s purpose is to better serve the bank’s customers in the Wareham and Tri-Town area. Cape Cod Five also operates a Loan Production Office in Marion.
