Library holds used book sale

May 23, 2014

Wareham Cooperative School seventh-graders went to the library on Thursday to help set up the annual Friends of the Wareham Library used book sale.

Teacher Jeff Egger said the students help out every year and are allowed to take one book home with them for their work.

The Friends of Wareham Library is an organization that fosters interest and support in Wareham's libraries through volunteership.  The sale helps fund the adult year-round reading program and the children's summer reading program and also to supplement the library's book budget and operating costs for the Spinney Library.

The book sale takes place at the Wareham Free Library on Friday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
