Thursday was Field Day for Kindergarteners at John W. Decas Elementary School, and there were several events for kids to take part in ranging from a water relay to the Tug of War and more.

"It's great for them to come out and play," said one of the parents present at the event. "School's almost over--it's a great time for them."

"And it didn't rain," she added with a smile.

The Tug of War matches were the highlight of the day, with students giving their all to come out on top. When it was over, a cry of "Best day ever!" could be heard from the winning side while the defeated took their loss in stride and seemed equally elated.

School at Decas runs through June 24th.
