THE NIMROD ATTACKS WAREHAM ON SUNDAY!

Jun 14, 2014

What a great way to spend Father's Day. Begin with an 1814 Church Service at noon on the Town Green at the soldier's camp. Then move down to Besse Park where the re-enactment of the attack of the HMS Nimrod on the town of Wareham begins at 1 pm. Plan to be entertained by the New Bedford Sea Chantey Chorus. The British will come ashore from their ships only to meet the heroic Wareham citizens, Minutemen and Militia. A pyrotechnic display will add to the excitement of the skirmish. This is the perfect family day, and the weather is going to be grand!
