Tom Richardson at boatinglocal.com has made a fantastic video about the  Bird Island Challenge on August 14. The annual paddle raises money for the YMCA's scholarship fund.  This year, more than 60 participants raised approximately $4,800!

Richardson interviews the paddlers and organizers and gets great on-the-water footage of the event, transporting those of us who couldn't be there (it was a 13-mile paddle) right to Bird Island.
