"Taking Down the Walls," an event to showcase what Wareham residents are doing both locally and globally to impact their communities, will be held on Saturday, September 11 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Onset Band Shell.

The free event is being put on by local churches. It will feature musical performances by Flood Gate, Sons of Thunder, and Troy Bourne. Information about the local churches and their upcoming activities will be available.

A time of memorial and prayer for victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks will also take place.

Additionally, in the morning, those who are able will serve in small service projects across the Wareham and Onset communities.
