With over 250 gigs under their belt, the local band Sound Tower will be celebrating their fourth anniversary by putting on a rock show at The Fan Club on Saturday, Aug. 9.

Sound Tower frontman George Dionne said Sound Tower debuted four years ago at Wareham's first National Night Out and went on to become an in-demand act at some local bars.

He said the band will headline the opening night of the annual Scallop Festival at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds for the second straight year this year, and is a featured act at the upcoming Marshfield Fair, among other recent performances.

The show at the Fan Club, which is located at 2859 Cranberry Highway, starts at 10 p.m.
