Louis S. Salvia, 84, of Plymouth died September 13, at the Life Care Center of Plymouth. Mr. Salvia was born in Somerville, the son of the late Dominic and Margaret (Dallorso) Salvia.

Mr. Salvia was an US Army veteran and member of the Local 25 Teamsters Union. He drove for Gillman Brothers Trucking, and he later worked for Cambridge City Hospital in the maintenance department. He is survived by his grandson Richard Salvia of Arlington, a brother John Salvia of Alabama and a dear friend Barbara Beatty of Buzzards Bay. He was the father of the late Richard Salvia and brother of the late Victor Salvia.

His funeral will be on Thursday Sept. 18, at 11:30 a.m. from the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center Wareham, and will be followed by his committal services at 12:30 in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Blvd. Bourne.
