Debbie M. (Pipher) Merry, 58, of Carver and formerly of Wareham, passed away Tuesday Sept 16, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth. Debbie was the wife of John W. Merry of Carver. She was born in Wareham the daughter of Evelyn (Brown) Pipher of Wareham and the late Robert F. Pipher.

Debbie attended Wareham Public Schools and graduated a member of the class of 1973. She attended Cape Cod Community College and Southeastern Massachusetts University (now the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth).

She worked for many years as an accountant for Boston Public Schools.  Mrs. Merry was an avid reader and enjoyed computer surfing. She was a former Sunday School teacher at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Wareham and a parishioner Of Saint Andrew's Church in Middleborough.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her siblings; Roberta Foley and her husband Fred of Wareham, Robert Pipher and his wife Kathy of Foxborough, Michael Pipher and his wife Dorothy of Wareham, and David Pipher and Dianne Pipher of Wareham. She was the aunt of Robert, Catherine and Michael Pipher and the great aunt of Vincent, Trevor and Jase. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
