Domingo R. Gomes Jr, 62, of Fall River died on Monday, October 13 at Crawford Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fall River.

Born in Wareham and a lifelong resident of Marion, he was the son of the late Domingo R Gomes Sr. and the late Doris (Santos) Gomes. He was also brother to the late Harry Gene (Bubba) Gomes.

Mr. Gomes formerly worked as a cook at the Kittansett Club in Marion and as a cook in Florida. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, cryptograms and word jumbles.

Survivors include his two sisters, Mary Ann Ramos of West Wareham and Doreen J Spain of Hopkins, South Carolina.

A graveside service will be held at St. Patricks Cemetary in Wareham on Friday, October 24 at noon and a memorial fellowship immediately following at the home of his sister, Mary Ann Ramos, at 9 Bog Iron Road, West Wareham.
