Key Club collects gifts for families in need

The Wareham High School Key Club recently sponsored two children for the holiday season as part of the Family-to-Family Holiday giving program.

The members of the Key Club collected gifts specific to the needs of the children to help provide some holiday cheer. The program helps provide for children from the Department of Children and Families.

The Wareham Key Club was recently formed and focuses on local community service activities, fundraising and are sponsored by the Bourne-Wareham Kiwanis Club. The Key Club is a global network of student-led service organizations serving the children of the world. The 2014-15 Wareham Key Club officers are President Zariah Lima, Vice President Julia Fluegel, Treasurer Emily Chambers, Secretary Indigo Leighton, and Editor Alex Atkinson. There are twenty-eight charter members of the club as they strive to make a difference in the school and community.
