Nancy (Swanberg) (DeCristofaro) Shepard, 76, of West Wareham passed away peacefully on December 21 at home surrounded by her loving family. She married the late James R. DeCristofaro of Rockland in 1960.

Nancy was a longtime waitress, gifted seamstress, loved bingo and was well- known for her lemon meringue pies. Her home was forever a revolving door of friends and family that she always made welcome with a cup of coffee and witty tale. Nancy was the beloved daughter Frank and Velma Swanberg and was raised in Whitman with siblings; Larry Weldon, Gloria Forrand & David Swanberg.

She is survived by her children Lisamarie Sapiel, James R. DeCristofaro Jr. and Vincent R. DeCristofaro; and two loving daughter in-laws Celeste and Mary DeCristofaro; and six beloved grandchildren Heather, Jimmy, Tommy, Daniel, Christine, Timmy. She will be deeply missed by her seven great-grandchildren who were the joy of her life, many nieces and nephews, and by her many friends where she lived in Great Hill Estates.
