Wareham High School inducts 30 new Honor Society members
Thirty Wareham High School students became the newest members of the Ruth Tompkins Chapter of the National Honor Society on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
These students, who all have to display outstanding leadership, character, scholarship and service, were evaluated by a faculty council before being made candidates for membership into the Honor Society.
Current officers in the National Honor Society spoke and swore in the new members. Wareham High School Assistant Principal Deborah Freitas and National Honor Society Advisor Christine Cinelli were both present to congratulate students and to present them with their membership cards.
These students must maintain a 90 grade point average and complete four hours of service per month in the Wareham community at various locations to maintain their membership. The Wareham High School Students inducted into the Ruth Tompkins Chapter of the National Honor Society are as follows:
