A young woman who was reported to be missing for several hours in sub-freezing temperatures early Saturday morning was found and transported to Tobey Hospital.

According to emergency reports, the unidentified woman had been at a bonfire in the woods with friends when she was reported missing around 1:30 a.m. A State Police helicopter located the woman near a cranberry bog in Maple Park off Glen Charlie Road in Wareham.

It is unclear the extent of the woman's injuries. The temperature at the time was hovered around 14 degrees.

Wareham, State, and Environmental Police were involved in the search. The woman was transported by Wareham EMS.
