Saima S. Honkonen, 93, of Marion formerly of West Wareham, passed away Tuesday February 10, at Sippican Health Care Center in Marion. Mrs. Honkonen was the wife of the late Henry E. Honkonen. She was born in Wareham the daughter of the late August and Hulda (Kujala) Silverberg. She enjoyed gardening and time spent with family and friends.

Mrs. Honkonen is survived by her children Judy Gibbs of West Wareham and H. Edward Honkonen of Sandwich. She was the sister of the late Martin Silverberg, Sulo Silverberg, Silvia Tuomala and Miriam Lahtinen. She was the grandmother of Christine Gibbs and Sandy Gibbs and great-grandmother of Stephanie, Kayla and Hailey. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews relatives and friends. She was the mother of the late William Honkonen.

Funeral Service Saturday February 14, at 11 a.m. in the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center Street, Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
