Gertrude “Trudy” (Murphy) Harrington, 94, of Pinehurst Beach, Wareham passed away Wednesday, March 11, at Tobey Hospital Wareham. Mrs. Harrington was the wife of the late James Harrington. She was born in Boston the daughter of the late Peter J. and Eva (Riboux) Murphy Sr.

Mrs. Harington was the former owner of Trudy’s Beauty Shop on Rt. 18 in South Weymouth.

She is survived by her siblings; Rita Jarvis of Brockton, Peter J. Murphy Jr. of Carver and Eva Frates of Rockland. She is also survived by her caregiver and nephew Michael Frates of Wareham and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was the sister of the late Marie E. Murphy and Gerard J. Murphy.
