Three candidates vie for two School Committee spots

There will be at least one new face on the Wareham School Committee come April as three candidates are seeking election for the two open seats on the committee.

Current School Committee Geoff Swett, whose current three-year term is coming to a close, will seek reelection. Fellow committee member Michael Flaherty announced he would not be seeking reelection in December of 2014, saying he wants to spend more time with his family.

Two newcomers -- Julianne Cummings and Judy Caporiccio -- will seek the seats at the April 7 town election.
